DITEN has the organizational structure described below, in accordance with the Department Regulations, with respect to its governance and strategic bodies, as well as those responsible for planning, supporting, and evaluating teaching, research, and third mission activities.
The Steering Committee provides support to the Director and Vice-Director in defining strategies and implementing departmental policies, in coordination with the Department Board.
There are Delegates and corresponding Committees dedicated to the Department's core missions, supported by additional advisory committees. The Quality Assurance Manager (RAQ) ensures the connection between the University Quality Assurance Office and the Department, and supports the Director and Delegates in QA activities related to teaching, research, technology transfer, third mission, and spin-offs.
Furthermore, DITEN is organized into three Coordination Hubs, which group together related cultural and scientific competences. These hubs are further subdivided into Operational Units.
Finally, the Administrative Office and Technical Services support all departmental activities within their respective areas of responsibility.
Further details are available in the 2025 Department Planning Document (PDip 2025).
